Happy Lunar New Year! Change of Look~

Our Clan Association, Lion Dance Troupe, Ladies' Group and Youth Group will like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a joyous lunar new year ahead! Wishing everyone a smooth sail in the year ahead!

At the same time, we are glad to unveil the new look of our blog during this joyous festive period. A new interactive banner can be spotted at the top of our blog, showcasing different generations of our members participating in our association's activities ever since its establishment in 1920. Not only that, our facebook application is directly linked to the blog, bringing you the latest activities happening in our association. Content-wise, we are honoured that our martial arts consultant Mr Chia Kim Lee, has contributed two articles on the brief introduction of Hong Jia Quan and Zhou Jia Quan.

The main purpose for this upgrade of website is to show the continual high regards we have of internet as a platform to promote our clan association's culture, and also to cultivate an interest in traditional Chinese culture amongst the young generation in the society; that clan association can be a "happening" place for the youths.

This whole upgrade took the youth members almost half a year to complete. To ensure the web page is interactive enough, a few of them spent hours to master computer script writing and banner designing as they aimed to present the best to the readers. Though the end product is incomparable to the professionals, their efforts to contribute to the clan association have already earned them recognitions from the elders.
