4th Traditional Martial Arts Display 2011

After a year of hard work, our young members had their first major martial arts performance at the 4th Traditional Martial Arts Display 2011 held at Hong Lim Park two weeks ago. They performed a total of four segments with confidence and drew warm applauses from the audience. Amongst the crowd were martial arts enthusiasts and participating martial art troupes members that included several coaches and masters. We were all excited and honoured to be part of this event as we were fortunate to witness an array of different styles of traditional martial arts being performed right in front of our eyes. This event had not only allowed us to be exposed to the local traditional and vibrant pugilistic community, but more importantly let us reaffirmed our commitment to promoting this form of traditional Chinese culture to more people!
